By paying attention you can learn a lot about yourself.
Personal awareness is the ability to observe how you think, feel and act in your daily life. So you can use these observations to understand more about who you are and why you act in specific ways.
Practicing awareness helps you understand who you are internally as a person. Whereas an unconsciousness person says: “I don’t want to look at that part of myself,” a conscious person wants to delve deeper into the matter. By exploring that inner world, gradually you begin to figure things out, discovering who you really are and what makes you happy.
Whether you have good or bad things happening in your life, be open to experiencing them a little bit more to fully understand them. Through increased awareness and understanding you will then become much more able to stop old behavioral patterns that are not working for you, and replace them with new behaviours that bring you increased joy and happiness.
As you become fully aware, life flows easier. Old patterns fall away and you’re well on your way to true happiness.
